Allan opens the American popular songbook to bring us music from the likes of Ellington, Gershwin, Cole Porter, Irving Berlin, Jerome Kern and Johnny Mercer. He plays these enduring standards with just the right 'bounce'. Even the dreamy ballads swing a little when Allan catches hold of them. On this visit Allan will offer plenty of romantic music in anticipation of Valentines Day.

"Pat Kane is a hardworking full time soloist who may entertain for hours without a break or repeat. On fiddle, guitar, and bodhran, he plays jigs, reels, square dances, and hundreds of ballads from Ireland and America." On occasion Pat partners with some of the best musicians from the Finger Lakes and Twin Tiers regions of New York and Pennsylvania when he organizes productions billed as "Finger Lakes Folk". Pat also presents programs in elementary schools fostering participation and cooperation through music and dance.

Jim and Eric bring us some familiar music, but often as not, they perform more obscure, seldom heard songs. Their sound is rich, full and mature, with a smoothness my friend compared to "sipping well-aged, fine scotch". You be the judge. We like the way they present their music, so we're pleased to have them back in Angelica.
